My dad and I went to hike Pine Mtn earlier this spring and there were literally a hundred or more of them on the path. We had to hike the whole thing looking straight down (which also helped us see the bear poop - which led us to hike in the opposite direction).
I used to find them when I was a kid all the time. I haven't seen one in at least 10 years.
I still wonder why there were so many and why they were all on the trail... Group salamander hike? Salamander boy scouts?

My daughter told me she wanted "skinny jeans" for Christmas . I am out of touch so she had to explain what they were .
Hooters has the smallest hot wings I've ever seen but the view was better than my favorite hot wing joints .

This area used to be covered with them. Guest River had the most from what I have gathered. I think water quality sent them packing though.
